It's been awhile since an update! Today I've created a short video showing how to use the Managment Groups, Clusters, and Volumes Wizard in HP P4000 SAN's CMC.
BGInfo is a popular tool for servers. It changes your wallpaper bitmap and embeds server specific data on it. Server 2008 R2 has some new security settings that make this a bit tricky. I've posted a video showing how to do this for all users that login in.
I had to setup a time server in Windows today and thought it might be a good video to archive!
After with playing with the VMWare vCSA I've realized that there are many limitations including not being able to use the vSA that VMWare has recently released. In preperation of installing the vSA I've created a video on how to install the vCenter Server. In addition, I've made a video on how to install the vSA and how to upgrade an ESXi host from 4.1 -> 5.0.
9/17/11With vSphere 5 coming out recently there have been lots of new things to try out! For now just one video which is very basic. Maybe some of my less-experienced readers can learn from them!
The new vCSA (Virtual Center Server Appliance) installation and configuration pages overview!
Anyone need to know how to install the vSphere 5 client?
Another weekend is here and time to add more movies! This week I have video's showing you how to configure DHCP and configure Network Policy and Access services to NAT an internet connection to workstations on your domain.
I work in the IT field and setup this page to catalog all of the problems and fixes I come across on a daily basis. When I decide something is worthy (or if I'm just bored) I'll create a short clip and post it.
To get things started I'll be posting a few very basic installation/configuration videos.
